Platinum Adventures® is our exclusive travel and activities club for customers aged 50+.  Platinum Adventures® provides great opportunities to meet new people, make new friends and enjoy activities such as:

  • Day trips to interesting sights in Chicago and neighboring communities
  • Seminars and demonstrations on interesting and important topics
  • Extended travel to U.S. and foreign destinations (upcoming trips include South Dakota, Russia, and Tanzania!)

It's easy and FREE to join!  If you are at least 50 years of age and have a Platinum Preferred® checking account, you are eligible!* Your only expense is the cost of events and trips you attend.

Old Plank Trail Halloween Party

Frankfort Rt. 30 & Shorewood branch locations
Spend the evening with Old Plank Trail Community Bank celebrating Halloween! Bring your grand-children and your family because this Halloween party is going to be a blast. With Arts & Crafts and a performance by Smarty Pants, this is bound to be a howling good time. Don't forget your spookiest costume and something to collect candy in. The festivities start at 6:30pm and go until 8:30pm. See you there!

Plainfield in conjunction with the Plainfield Chamber of Commerce is hosting a sports themed chili cook-off and business after hours event at their branch. Residents and businesses within Plainfield are invited to enter the cook-off with their signature chili recipes. We would like you to come out and taste test during an evening of fun for the whole family. Be sure to bring an empty stomach and wear your favorite team's jersey!

What better way to kick off the Holiday season than with a Christmas Concert that will warm your heart. All the well-known songs will be sung by singers from the Lincoln Way Area Chorale who come from communities all around us. You'll be singing along before you know it! Come by yourself, with your grandchildren, or make it a family event! Nothing says Christmas quite like a beautiful chorale.

Each year we look forward to our Christmas trip and this year will be fun. The Rialto Theatre in Joliet will be showcasing The Texas Tenors who made their whirlwind debut five years ago on America's Got Talent. These Texas Emmy winners are sure to blow you away. Join us for the Christmas event, "Deep in the Heart of Christmas" and enjoy their breathtaking vocals and cowboy charm. Prior to the event enjoy a delicious family style dinner at Little Joe's Famous Chicago Ristorante in Frankfort.

2015 Trips

October 22 - 23, 2015

Ghosts of Galena
Join us during the season of “tricks and treats” as we journey to Galena, IL for a special overnight trip. This “spooky” trip includes a ghost tour, tarot reading sessions, a visit to Havencrest Castle, wine tasting at Massbach Ridge Winery, a stop at Edwards Apple Orchard and more! We will enjoy delicious “treats” at the Lincoln Way Café and at the historic Vinny Vanucchi’s Restaurant.

New York City Holiday
There is no city more exciting than New York City during the holiday season! The festive decorations trimming the city streets, the imaginative store windows displaying a wonderland of holiday dreams and the entertaining Broadway shows are sure to spark the holiday spirit in your heart. Trip highlights include: 3 night stay in Manhattan, Broadway shows, guided city tour including Central Park, Fifth Avenue, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Times Square, Lower Manhattan, Greenwich Village, Soho, Financial District, Wall Street, and Chinatown. You’ll also enjoy the Circle Line Boat Cruise around Manhattan Island with views of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, National September 11th Memorial & Museum, Empire State Building, the ice skating rink & the city’s enormous Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center. Top it all off with the Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall!
