We believe in community outreach on a variety of levels and recognize the various needs within the community. With this mission in mind, Paul Slade, Chairman & CEO, Old Plank Trail Community Bank, and Rebecca Nagle, Assistant Vice President/Market Manager, Old Plank Trail Community Bank, recently presented the New Hope Center, Inc. with a $1,000.00 check. The check was accepted by Timothy Knapp, Executive Director, New Hope Center, and Phillip Paige, Treasurer of the New Hope Center Board of Directors.
New Hope Center is a not-for-profit community-based organization that provides services to individuals with developmental disabilities who reside in Southeast Cook County and Northeast Will County. Communities served include: Crete, Calumet City, Chicago Heights, Dolton, Evergreen Park, Harvey, Lansing, Lynwood, Markham, Matteson, Park Forest, Riverdale, Sauk Village, South Chicago, South Holland, Steger, Thornton, and Tinley Park. New Hope Center relies on generous contributions to aid their efforts in enhancing the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.
Currently, New Hope Center is in its 53rd year, and programs include developmental training, residential services, employment services, special recreation, as well as a variety of community support services to adults and children with disabilities. New Hope Center provides services to over 400 individuals with developmental disabilities, and continues to meet the needs of each of its program participants as they increase skills and move toward greater independence and integration in their respective communities.
